I am digital educator, early childhood development practitioner, and former classroom teacher with a passion for empowering Muslim families with identity-centric parenting during the early years.
Over the last 6 years years, I’ve noticed a growing need for Islamic resources that go beyond the basics, addressing deeper issues like identity formation, gender fluidity, and Western/ Secular cultural practices. What started as workshops for children during mainstream holidays quickly grew in demand as parents sought more support. In response, I created The Good Child Academy—a home education CURRICULUM that integrates Islamic principles, and Western cultural analysis. My mission is to help young Muslim families confidently navigate today’s world while fostering a strong Islamic identity during every developmental stage with ease.
You wonder if you’re doing enough to support your child’s faith and Islamic identity.
You don’t have the time to sit down and teach regularly, and it leaves you feeling guilty.
You worry your child isn’t learning enough about Islam during the formative years or connecting with their faith in a meaningful way.
You’re unsure how to fit Islamic education into your child’s life without feeling overwhelmed.
You’re concerned that you are not addressing mainstream holidays like Halloween and Christmas in a way that matches your child’s development.
You’ve tried Islamic and Sunday schools, YouTube videos, and Islamic books or random print-ables, but they aren’t consistent or deep enough for your standards.
In the words of Sh Muhammed Alshareef (RA). Instead of rejecting the modern challenges our children face in today’s world, we embrace them by giving our children the support they need during their formative years, so we can build a strong Islamic foundation that will carry them through life.
We no longer burn ourselves out by trying to do it all on our own. Instead, we seek out credible experts and curate our unique village, ensuring we achieve the outcome we desire for our children’s Islamic growth and development.
We don’t shy away from topics like mainstream holidays just because our parents didn’t address them. Instead, we empower our children by giving them the tools they need to navigate their world confidently, rooted in their Islamic values.
Because I am you.
You want to want to be confident that your child is growing spiritually without feeling guilty about not doing everything yourself. You want the outcome of a strong Islamic identity for your child, but you are already stretched out too thin. You might even be thinking....
"I want my child to feel proud of their Islamic identity, even in a non-Muslim environment."
"I need to know that I’m doing enough to support my child’s faith without sacrificing my own time and energy."
"I wish my child could learn about Islam in a way that’s engaging, age-appropriate, and easy for them to understand so they can carry it well throughout their life."

Interactive lessons to help children apply what they’re learning.
Short learning videos taught by me with a focus on making Islamic education easy and age-appropriate.
Printable workbooks to reinforce the teachings and integrate them into your child’s daily life.
The program is tailored for children ages 5-12. The oldest child who can benefit from this program will be at 15 years old.
Your child can learn at their own pace, with short videos, interactive lessons, and workbooks. Typically, they will need about 30-60 minutes per week, but you can choose when and how to engage with the material.
While the program is hands-off for parents, allowing your child to learn independently, you’ll have to decide what feels comfortable for you. I do encourage general supervision when a child is on a device even when learning.
You will get lifetime access to all the learning materials inside The Good Child Academy's workshops for as long as it's running. This also means that you can revisit it as for as long as you need.
This is the exact program I wish I'd had when I I started my parenting journey. I was feeling so stuck and overworked in my parenting and life. It would have saved me many months of stress, long nights searching the internet and (way) too much coffee. I created this for who I used to be and still am, and for anyone who is feeling like I was and is finally ready to do something about it!
Your child learns independently at their own pace, freeing up your time to focus on you while they stay engaged.
